On Sunday we went to see Wicked which was a fantastic show from beginning to end. Here's a little background on the story....."Long before Dorothy drops in, two other girls meet in the Land of Oz. One, born with emerald green skin, is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. Wicked follows these two unlikely friends and college roomates grow into very different women: The Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch. Based on the Novel by Gregory Maguire."
We had dinner with my friend Bethany after the show at Pastis, a french bistro in the meatpacking district. By far my favorite meal there, although every place we went had great food.
We took a quick and very brisk walk through a portion of Central Park. It was freezing that day! When we started to feel the frostbite setting in we headed off to lunch.

Stopped by Radio City just to see the outside, again, it was freezing so we didn't linger there.

We headed to Macy's for some shopping, it has 8 floors and I actually got lost! You know it's big when they give you a map as you walk in the door. I didn't buy anything it was the same stuff we have here in Louisville.
Empire State Building
The Neue Gallery had a Klimt exhibit and I love him so that was another stop we made. We also went to the Guggenheim but I didn't take any pictures of the outside because of renovations.
