Christmas is Coming....

Christmas is coming and we're getting in the spirit with our annual trip to see Santa. Unfortunately everyone else in Louisville had the same idea. We waited and waited and waited. Connor was great and very patient. We actually saw Santa enter the building (with an official mall escort) and Connor ran as fast as he could yelling, "There he is, there's Santa!" He even got a wave from the big guy.

This is our friend Charlie the Elf who flies to the North Pole every night to tell Santa if Connor and Keaton were good boys that day. He came with the book, Elf on a Shelf, so cute! The book talks about how you get the elf, name him, and he shows back up somewhere different every morning after he's reported to Santa. I'm milking it for all it's worth. "Connor, if you don't pick up your toys Charlie's going to tell Santa," or "Connor, if you don't stop crying Charlie's going to tell Santa."
Connor expected the cars and trains he asked Santa for to be waiting for him after he hopped down off his lap. I tried to explain to him that he would have to wait until Christmas when Santa brought them on his sleigh.

We have the Elf too and have had a lot of fun with it! Charlie is scared to death if Santa gets to close so we will see!
