Birthday Wishes From Down Under

Connor received his first birthday card from overseas a few weeks ago. (Yes, I know we've not updated the blog lately.....). Apparently the Bananas in Pajamas are a big hit in Australia. Thanks to Judy Tuggle for the birthday wishes!! We can't wait to visit our friends Lindsay and David in Sydney. We miss them so much.

Hangin' in the Toy Basket

Connor gets frustrated when he can't get out the toy he wants. On this day I took out practically every toy in there and he still wasn't happy. So I just stuck him in there to find the toy he was looking for.

GO CATS!!!!

On, On, U of K......Connor was ready for his first UK/UofL football game over Labor Day weekend. He didn't even stay awake to see the kick-off, but we lost so it's probably better that he didn't stay up afterall. Although we are all saddened that Michael Bush of U of L broke his leg during the game.

Michael got Connor a new video called, "Raising Tomorrow's Kentucky Fan Today." Yes, it's already started, and I thought the video was silly but Connor loves it. He's already watched it a couple of times and is in a trance when it's on (as you can see in the picture). I particularly enjoy the really southern accent that's heard throughout the video. If our child watches it too many times he may grow up sounding like a southern belle.

I love to roll around on mommy and daddy's bed every morning.

Happy Birthday-11 months!!

Sorry we've been bad and haven't posted anything in a few weeks. We've added a couple of new ones just to make it up to you. August 18th was Connor's 11 month birthday. Only 1 month to go for the big one!!

High Five

Our new bag of tricks includes clapping, high fives (and low fives too of course) and sometimes waving hi and bye.

New Hairdo

We've got enough hair to have a new hairdo, how do ya like the mohawk? When we ask Connor if he wants to take a bath he gets so excited and starts waving his hands in the air, and after we get his clothes off he crawls as fast as he can straight to the tub.
