January Update

It's been a couple of weeks so I guess it's time to have a mid January update. What's up here? It's freezing! Connor's been forced to wear a hat, but he doesn't mind too much. He even asked me to take his picture wearing it so he could look at himself on the camera.
What else has the Carr household been up to? Building forts.....
Taking baths with Jobu's help. She's always coming up to see what's going on in the bathroom.
Not sharing his cars with his friend Riley. Note the way he has tried to let her know with his hands that they're "off limits."
Attending Gymsters class and birthday parties at My Gym. This was at our neighbor, Annabelle's birthday party. The first thing he said when we got in the car was, "I want a cupcake at the birthday party." His wish was granted, chocolate cupcakes from the Homemade Pie and Ice Cream Kitchen. Sooooo good!!

Happy New Year!!

The Christmas Post

We had three Christmas celebrations in three different cities, the first one kicked off in Louisville. There seemed to be a theme this year, and that theme was cars. Connor had car books, car pajamas, and even more cars to line up in a neat little row.
Where to park all of these cars? How about a new parking garage! Looks like we have a bit of a pile up here.

Christmas #2

Next stop, Evansville. First on the agenda was watching the movie, "Cars" with cousin Walker.

Then on to reading a book featuring, you guessed it, the characters from "Cars."
You can't have Christmas without Grandma and her antlers!

Christmas # 2 1/2

We had a little get together with my friends Ali, Kerrie and Lindsay, and Kerrie's baby, Bailey, joined us. Connor took notice of him as well.

Christmas #3

Finally on to Christmas #3 in Murray at Mimi and Poppy's house. Here we are in the "Ring of Fire" as my parents call it.

Connor and Uncle Nick which is pronounced (ni-yuck) in Connor's new southern drawl. Now my child sounds like he's from a farm in the hills somewhere and I'm not sure how that happened.
Poppy read "The Night Before Christmas" before bedtime.

Santa brought all the things Connor requested, suckers, cars and a choo choo train which was a big hit! He's also added another new favorite movie to his collection, "The Polar Express." I think he's watched it about 15 times since Christmas, but it's a cute movie so we don't mind too much. Although I may change my tune by summer.....I'm not sure that I want to be watching a Christmas movie in July!

Connor gave Nick, Ashley and Michael some tips on how to build the perfect Christmas pyramid.
