Happy Holidays!!

I'm not sure sending cards this year is going to happen. So we'll take the easy way out.....Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all of our friends and family!!
It's pretty hard to get a kid to sit still, even for a minute to take a family photo.
We are trying out sign language and Connor quickly picked up on the sign for "more" and he uses it quite frequently when he's eating. We were giving him goldfish while taking pictures and kept making the "more" sign. Smart boy.

More Christmas Pictures

Just a few more Christmas pictures for you. Connor's sporting his new Christmas PJs this month.
If you ask him, "Where's the Christmas tree?" He points right to it. It's unbelievable that he hasn't taken one ornament off the tree yet.

He's recently learned to climb up in this chair. He's also started walking. Only a few bloody lips so far!!

Santa

Connor and daddy went to visit with Mama D, Walker, Allison and Evan the first weekend of December while mommy shopped until her feet ached. The cousins always have to have the matching PJs picture in front of the tree.

Does he look excited to see Santa or what??

Happy Turkey Day!

We headed to Nashville to visit with my family on Thanksgiving. Lots of carbs were consumed that day.
That turkey sure does make a little boy sleepy. He had to rest up before we headed out on our annual trip to see the lights at the Opryland Hotel.

After hanging out with all of our families in Nashville we headed to the Opryland to show Connor the biggest tree I've ever seen. It must be 60 feet tall.

This was a Michael Jackson moment. Connor really wanted to put his feet on the railing. It was a big drop and mommy didn't want to take any chances!!

Cousins

We headed to Evansville to visit with Michael's family for the rest of Thanksgiving weekend. Connor LOVES hanging out with big cousin, Walker. I think Walker enjoys hanging out with Connor too, that is until he gets a poke in the eye!

Friends from Down Under

Our dear friends Lindsay and David came to visit us in November from Sydney, Australia. It was so nice to get to spend time with one of my best friends that I haven't seen in 2 years. I miss her all the time!

Ali and Travis Johnson came up from Bowling Green to go to dinner with everyone, and we had a good time.

It was so nice that first week in November we went to eat at Captain's Quarters on River Road. We had a nice evening outside overlooking the water. Connor loved the big wooden fisherman that sits outside the restaurant.
Yep this is my kid, again wanting to hold his daddy's beer. I'm starting to think I'm really in for it.

Happy Halloween

We braved the rainy and cold weather on Halloween to take our little duck out on his first Trick or Treat outing. I wasn't really sure that he would keep the head part of his outfit on, but once he saw all the kids in the neighborhood running around he completely forgot about it. We only went a few places and ended up handing out more candy to the kids. Connor was more interested in playing with the candy in the basket.

Mimi Comes to Town

My mom a.k.a. "Mimi" came to stay with us the week of Halloween after her retirement started. Happy Retirement Mimi we hope to see lots more of you in Louisville now that you're free. Connor and I actually drove down to Murray State to surprise her at her retirement party. She was completely surprised and shed a few tears too!

Pumpkins!!

We went to pick out pumpkins at Paul's Fruit Market in October and Connor had the best time pickin' his pumpkin. He picked a cute little small one, just like him. We put it in a special place on the front porch and he had to pick it up every time he saw it.
