Easter Weekend

We were in Murray for Easter weekend (Connor spent the week there with his grandparents) and the Country Club had an egg hunt for the kids and a special visit from the Easter bunny. Connor was successful with quite a few eggs which he later decided to put in the holes on the putting green.

What loot he got from the Easter bunny! We had to eventually hide the candy from him after he consumed about 8 chocolate eggs in a row.

We went to First Presbyterian with my parents, Mimi and Poppy. Notice the matching searsucker pants the boys have on. Throughout the service our minister repeated, "He is risen" and we replied, "He has risen indeed." Connor quickly got the hang of things and repeated the saying with the rest of the congregation. He told us afterwards, "We went to church and we sang songs." Yes we did.

Easter continued.....

What's Easter without a dumptruck full of cars?

Everyone knows Easter is not complete without a scattering of colored Easter grass around the grandparent's house. Cleanup on aisle five!

Connor's News

If you can't read the shirt he's wearing it says, "I'm the big brother." We are happy to announce that we are expecting a baby brother or sister for Connor this fall. My due date is October 18th which is exactly one month after Connor's 3rd birthday. I'm feeling okay, just sick at night and the tiredness has kicked in too, but overall not too bad. We'll keep you updated in the months ahead!

Snow, snow and more snow.......

We had a big snow here on Friday and Saturday. I'm not certain, but I think we got around 12 inches at our house! It looked like a blizzard on Saturday morning. Connor had a great time playing and shoveling with us. Daddy even taught him how to have a snowball fight at mommy's expense. It's crazy to think that in March we were all bundled up, drinking hot chocolate by the fireplace after spending the afternoon in nearly a foot of snow!!

Bring on the Sunshine!

Forget all this cold weather and snow, we want warm weather so we can wear our shades.
