Fall Pics

Here's a few pictures of the little guy on one of our visits to Murray this Fall.

Photo Ops

We set Connor up like a prop and just changed the people around.

He looks like he's in the running man pose here.

Momma's Chair

On one of our many visits to Murray Mimi pulled out my little rocking chair from childhood. We got Connor to sit in it long enough to take a picture. You can see he was getting a tooth because he was constantly gnawing on a finger or two!

Homecoming 2006

Well, as usual, I am catching up on old news. We went to MSU's Homecoming in October and had a good weekend. We got to see Connor's girlfriend, Sarah Umbarger, at Tent City. Sorry Sarah, he was just too worn out! He did wake up in the end to meet Racer One which was a highlight!

Ball

We had lots of fun at Thomas and Nancy Daniel's house in Lexington with a blow up beach ball. Connor LOVES to roll balls back and forth. He gets very excited watching people play basketball too. Too bad his parents won't be able to pass on the "tall" genes to him. Who knows he could be a future Spud Webb.

Is Somebody Gonna Card That Kid??

Yes, my child loves to hold beer bottles, maybe because they're cold, I'm not sure exactly. It's okay at home (and we don't let him drink the beer, but you knew that). When we're out at a restaurant it's not good when your kid throws a tantrum because he wants daddy's beer.

Harry Elephante

Connor loves the elephant that Mimi gave him. He has to take Harry everywhere he goes even to dinner! And he MUST hold him by his trunk at all times.

Cheerio?

"I'm really not sure if I want to share my cheerio with you Uncle Jimmy, but here ya go."

Happy 1st Birthday

On September 18th our little guy turned one. Time flies when you're sleep deprived. What a year it's been and we're so lucky to have such a sweet baby boy. We were in Nashville for the big day because daddy had a conference at the Opryland Hotel and my birthday was on the 19th so we celebrated with family. We love you very much Connor and we are amazed at how far you've come.

Birthday Party

What is this thing??? Connor was tentatively poking his finger in the birthday cake. When we started singing Happy Birthday to him, he screamed as if to say, "Why are you all starting at me and singing?" That got a funny reaction from the crowd.

Notice the serious face as he stares at his piece of cake. Daddy was disappointed with Connor's lackluster reaction to the chocolate goodness. Oh well, there's always next year!

Birthday Pics

Here are more pictures from the party. Connor got a cool wagon that he enjoys riding in and lots of other toys. We had 3 different birthday hats for the boy to wear over the weekend. I think he forgot that he had this one on from his great Alice and Uncle Jimmy.

Surprise!!

Okay, this is a little late, but I turned 30 on September 19th and Michael had a surprise party for me on the 9th. He can't lie very well, and I figured out something was up that day. So the party wasn't a surprise, but I was surprised at all of the guests that were able to make it. I had a great time and thanks to all who came. I love you all!! By the time I thought about taking pictures the party was over and my family were the only ones left. I really thought I would be sad about turning 30, but I really don't feel any different.
Goodbye 20's........

Boon

We're still loving the balloons. Connor says,"Boon" for balloon. He was all about playing with his "boon" until daddy put the UK video in.
