Happy New Year

Our apologies here at the Carr Family blogspot. We have taken a month long break from posting. Christmas has come and gone and we're just now digging out from underneath the mountains of wrapping paper. We've spent some time and updated you on all of our Christmas journeys. We wish you all a Happy New Year!! 2006 was an adventure, and we've witnessed many firsts with Connor this past year. It's hard to believe that time has once again flown by.

What a Mess!!

Connor seems to make a mess no matter what he eats. I particularly like the hairdo he's created for himself in this first picture.
Spaghetti is quite a mess too. Sometimes he uses a fork and sometimes it's hands only.
Do you think we gave him a bath after this meal?

Conrah

Connor and Sarah aka "Conrah" got to visit together after Christmas. The only way we could take a picture of them together was to put them in Sarah's bed together. Don't get any ideas you guys, we're not ready for the birds and the bees talk just yet.......

Christmas In Louisville

We had our Christmas in Louisville on the 22nd so we wouldn't have to take our 5 tons of presents to Evansville and Murray. Connor enjoyed rolling around in his new clothes and in all of the boxes. We packed up and headed out to Evansville on the 23rd to have Christmas with the Carrs and Becks.

I'll Get You Sucka!

Connor: "Hmmmm.....What's this?"

Mommy: "It's a sucker try it, you'll like it."

Connor: "Oh, that IS tasty! How come you're just now giving me one of these?"

Yeah, it was great, until the sucker got stuck in my sweater and had a coating of black sweater fur all over it.

Christmas in Evansville

Instead of helping his cousin Walker with his birthday present, Connor decided sitting in it was much more fun.

Connor had to get up early on Christmas Eve to clean up before Santa's arrival with his vacuum.
Everyone got UK pillows and the boys enjoyed resting their heads after a long night of opening gifts.
All of the men got UK hats, do you see a theme here?
Connor got some of his favorite household items for Christmas....a microwave and a vacuum.
It's hard work keeping the house clean, especially with all of that wrapping paper!!

Christmas in Murray

We made it to Murray for the final leg of our Christmas tour.
I got to visit with some of my friends, Kerrie and Ali.
Connor showed Mimi his new toy.

" Gotta get to bed before Santa comes, but I just need to vacuum one more time."

So Many Toys, So Little Time

Trying out the new tricycle from Mama D and PaPaw.

Connor must have been very good this year because Santa and all of the other relatives gave him lots of great stuff. It was a good thing Michael went home with some of the toys after Christmas so we could take a second load of them home after New Years in Murray.

Ready for the Game

Sorry for the delay in updates. It's been hectic with the holidays and we're just now recovering. Connor was decked out in his blue and white for the UK/U of L game back in December. This kid loves UK which makes Daddy very happy. The UK book Michael got him is his favorite book and we have to read it several times a day. We even give him a choice to pick out any book in his collection, which has steadily grown to a very large library, and he always picks "Hello Wildcat." I think we've both memorized all of the words at this point. Go Cats!

All ready to warm up with the team in my sweats!!
