Our Little Sleeper

Cooper is doing very well. He is sleeping as I type this, which is pretty much what he does all day. And we're not complaining one bit!! He has been eating, sleeping and pooping through his first few weeks of life. It will be two weeks this coming Tuesday since his exciting arrival.
Love this little smirk he has on his face. Can't wait to see him truly smile at us in a month or so.

Can I say it's been a bit hot around here? I think I heard it's one of the hottest summers on record, and I was pregnant with a 9 pound baby! We've spent a little time outside but mostly at the pool. Keaton really enjoys playing with the water hose and Daddy taught him how to drink out of it too.
More of Cooper sleeping.....
The big boys enjoy sitting in all of Cooper's bouncy seats. They leave them turned on all day so we'll be buying lots of batteries.
Is this the cutest little skater you've ever seen??
Mr. Happy Pants

Thank goodness for Mimi, she stayed with us the first week we got home and took care of the boys for us. Then she drove them to Murray this past week and they are spending time in Murray with all of their grandparents. Which means I am at home with the baby, and it makes life so much easier! Even though they are having a ball, we miss them so much and can't wait to see them on Tuesday.

My last picture before the delivery.

Cooper's Here!!!

Finally we have some news to share! My water broke at 11:30 last night and we headed straight to the hospital. I got admitted and was having contractions less than 5 minutes apart. In triage they said I was 6cm dilated and 80% effaced, not 25 minutes later they wheeled me into the delivery room and Michael went to get our bags and park the car. As soon as he left I had non-stop contractions and felt I needed to push right then. The nurse said he was ready to come out and I had to call Michael's cell phone to tell him to run! He and the Doctor met in the hallway and ran down together. I had no time for an epidural or anything he just came right out weighing in at 9 pounds 5 ounces and 20 inches long. Cooper Matthew Helton Carr has lots of very dark hair and looks like a little sumo wrestler. We will post pictures very soon! What a story we have to share with him when he gets older!!
