Christmas is Coming.....

Gotta love the Christmas jammies. Trying to get two boys to stay still for a picture is not easy, but we did get one good shot.

Trimming the Tree

Connor has been begging us since Thanksgiving to put up our tree. We finally got ourselves together and he wanted to hang every ornament. He kept saying, "This is going to be the best Christmas EVER!" So cute. By 10:30 that evening we told him he had to go to bed and we would finish the rest. I then had to "fix" the ones he hung since they were all triple hung on branches in the very front. Hey, he tried! But little brother is dangerous so we moved the breakables to the top. He cried when he saw the tree in the morning because he wanted to decorate the rest, and realized we had moved some of his strategically placed ornaments. I gave him a few extra to hang and that seemed to help.

The orament explosion.
Such a guy trying to decorate the tree while not missing what's happening on t.v.

Keaton loves to look out the window while standing on the couch. He's 14 months now and is into everything. Totally different than Connor at this stage, but not in a bad way, just very curious. He's only broken one ornament off the tree so far. Connor, a.k.a. "Mr. Hall Monitor" tells me when he's getting close to the tree. The broken ornament happened while Mr. Monitor was still asleep.

Giving Thanks

We were in Nasvhille for Thanksgiving this year with my side of the family. It was a really nice day with tons of good food. We have a lot to be thankful for this year. One of the big ones is that Michael's mom is doing well and has all of her casts off, ports and trach out and is doing some physical therapy from her bed. We stopped by to see her (she's still in Nashville) and Michael's family. It was the first time Connor and Keaton have seen her since her accident in September. Connor was super sweet by rubbing her feet and just got up in her bed to chat. He told her he loved everything she was wearing. I guess a hospital gown never looked so good??
Sweet brothers. For a moment that is.

Silly faces

Thanksgiving is over and now we're ready for Christmas!
