The Carr Family

We went to Nashville a few weekends ago for my cousin's baby shower and Connor got to hang with the kitties at my aunt and uncle's house. Gracie the kitty was very interested in the movie, Antz (don't ask why they decided to spell it with a Z). In addition to Antz we've added Shark Tales, and Charlotte's Web to the movie collection. Connor makes up his own titles, so Shark Tales is the Fishy Movie, and Charlotte's Web is the Piggy Movie.
Mimi brought Valentine's Day gifts for our boy.

In other news, I had a car accident on Wednesday leaving work which was not fun! This woman in a minivan plowed into me while I was sitting on the 65N ramp. I could see her coming in my mirror but there wasn't much I could do. The impact threw me into the car in front of me and then he hit the car in front of him. The guy in front of me went to the hospital, when I was the one with the most damage to my car and I had most of the impact! I do have some major whiplash and a bruise or two, but I'm fine other than being really sore. Now we get to deal with all of the insurance business so this will drag on for a while.

Cruisin

Connor loves to play in the basement, but I wish it was finished because it's cold down there these days. We did bring up the Wildcat car this weekend courtesy of Mimi and Poppy on Connor's first Christmas. A three month old doesn't appreciate such a car, but a 2 1/2 year old does!
Many of you know that our cat Jobu isn't friendly to anyone besides Michael and me. Over the years she's grown to love Connor and the feelings are mutual. This event pictured above doesn't happen often, and she even let him give her a massage with his feet (and no limbs were lost).

"Sucka"

I know, I know I'm going to rot my kid's teeth out before he turns three. Really, we don't give him suckers that often but he was on his best behavior during gym class last week and he really wanted a blue "sucka." Look at that little smile, who can resist?

Good Eats

My parents a.k.a. Mimi and Poppy came in to babysit for us a few weeks ago and we tried a new restaurant for brunch called Wild Eggs. It was soooo good and Connor ate all of the eggs on his plate and half of one of the largest pancakes I've ever seen. Poppy entertained our youngest diner by molding hot pink playdough into a shark complete with open mouth to eat all of the little "fishies" we made. You must add a small can of playdough to your diaperbag, it's a must have in my book!

Dancing Machine

Connor loves to dance around the house, all of the time. We found a few channels on tv that play dance music, but the 80's channel seems to be his favorite. As you'll see he likes to check out his reflection in the fireplace.
