It's a Boy!!

We found out on March 24th that baby Carr is a boy! This wasn't a big surprise for us since our 12 1/2 week ultrasound showed boy parts, but the tech couldn't confirm for sure until my 20 week ultrasound. The best news is that he looks healthy and right on track for his due date of 8/9/10. We have been calling him "the guy," but think we will name him Cooper.

In other news we moved out of our house this week and boy it was a chore. The boys went to stay with my parents so we could pack/move all week, but we still didn't get it done by our 5pm deadline on Friday. It was more like, midnight and I can assume that the new owners were quite ready to see us go. We were all so exhausted there wasn't even any time to be sentimental about leaving our first home! The boys have adjusted so well to their new place and have gone to bed just fine, and that's a huge relief. As for me, I'm pretending we are on an extended 3 month vacation with the view of the pool from our new apartment. Warm weather hurry up already!!

Our Pile of Dirt

Here are a few pictures of our "pile of dirt" and future home. We drove my parents by this weekend and met most of our neighbors who were all very nice. Connor will have tons of little boys to play with his age which will be great. They also said our neighbor's daughter is a great babysitter. Score! Her parents went to Murray State according to their license plate, but we've not met them yet.

Winter Fun

So we are little behind on posting pictures, but here are a few from some of our snow days (and we had a lot of them in February).

Keaton loves to play in our bathroom by dragging out everything from the cabinets. He also loves to brush his teeth, with anybody's toothbrush he can find!

March Update

Well it's been a while since our last post. An entire month has passed and we haven't had much time to slow down. We put our house on the market the last week in January and it sold in 9 days! The good thing is we don't have to constantly clean for those surprise showings, bad thing is we have to move in 3 weeks. We have been looking for places to live and haven't found anything we like so we are going to build a house just down the street from our current one in a new neighborhood. Michael, mom and I went to pick everything out last week from flooring to door handles. The house should be ready at the end of June, so we are moving to an apartment for the time being. I am hoping to keep my sanity through this process.

As for the the family, we are all good. We will find out the sex of the baby at the end of March (but we think it's a boy), and Connor and Keaton are enjoying all of this nice weather we've had over the weekend. Hopefully when we have a minute we can post some new pictures.
