I See London, I See France

I see someone's underpants....well probably no one's underwear besides my own, but we are really going to see London and France (Paris to be exact) very soon. Michael and I are leaving tomorrow afternoon for London to meet up with mom and dad and then travel to Paris next weekend. Dad's teaching the British Literature course that Lindsay and I took through Murray State. I am so excited to go back and see two wonderful cities I saw 8 years ago. We'll be sure and post pictures from our travels after we return. Connor is not going to make this trip, that would be too stressful for all involved. He'll have much more fun with his cousin Walker and the rest of the family, and probably will forget that we're even gone!!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

We took Michael to the Louisville Bats baseball game Saturday night as part of his Father's Day gift. Connor joined us for the game and enjoyed his ballpark, "pitta" a.ka. pizza and tried funnel cake for the first time. To my surprise he didn't really like funnel cake! Is this my child? He most enjoyed the music they played more than anything else.
Trying to escape to make a run up the stairs. We left shortly after this to check out the kiddie playground where we found nearly 30+ kids running around like they were all on some sort of crazy sugar high.
We were all parched at the game with 90 degree heat.

Happy Birthday Poppy!!

Happy Birthday to my dad (a.k.a. Poppy)!! We celebrated over 4th of July weekend because he and my mom (a.k.a. Mimi) have just landed in London, England as I am writing this. What a way to celebrate your birthday!! We love you and can't wait to see you when we come and visit.

4th of July

Check out the flying kid. We went to the pool for the 4th and the little guy had a blast in the water. He really wanted to go down the big slide, but unfortunately he doesn't reach the height requirements yet. Maybe next year buddy!

Later we went to our friends Dave and Kristen's new house. Connor had so much fun on the slip and slide and had a diaper that weighed about 10 pounds after he was finished. Talk about junk in your trunk!! He also enjoyed the fish pond and drawing with sidewalk chalk.

Fun at the Pool

We headed to Murray for 4th of July weekend. Connor hasn't been to the pool yet this year so we took a quick dip at the Murray Country Club.
