Pickin' a Pumpkin

We took Connor out today to pick a pumpkin and he had the best time running around. Poor kid hasn't been out of the house much these past two weeks.


He chose one for Keaton and one for himself.

Mama D and PaPaw, Michael's parents came in this past week to help us out as well and Connor had a good time hanging out with them.

Mimi, Poppy, and the boys. Keaton's been such a good baby since he's been home, and he only cries when he's hungry. He's so laid back and I hope he stays that way! We are so lucky to have such a sweet boy.

What would I have done without my mom the first week home? She took care of the 3 C's for us, cooking, cleaning, and Connor.

We're all at home now and are doing well, besides the lack of sleep of course! Connor was so happy to have all of his family home too. He wanted to show Keaton their rooms and asked if Keaton could sleep in his bed. That would be interesting.

Of course baby brother's things are most interesting to big brother. We got out the bigger bouncy seat and Connor tried it out. You can really see the difference in the two here.
We went to the pediatrician on Tuesday and she said he looked good but come back on Friday to recheck his weight to make sure it's on it's way back up after birth. That's it for now.

We have tons of pictures to share......Michael's parents, Mama D and PaPaw were here to meet Keaton.
After he got up from his nap today Connor told my mom that he wanted to go see his baby Keaton. Still so excited to see him and said he sounded like a baby bird. I have to agree, or even a puppy.

His eyes are actually open here! I forgot to say in my first post that his full name is Keaton Samuel Morgan Carr. Keaton, cause we just liked it, Samuel, for both of our great grandfathers, and Morgan is Michael's mom's maiden name.

Keaton's Here!!!

My water broke at 3am and Keaton was born at 7:55am Saturday morning. He weighs 8 pounds 8 ounces, and is 20 1/2 inches long. It only took two contractions and 4 pushes to get him out which was great. We couldn't believe how quickly it happened. We are all doing well and he is so sweet. Connor was soooo excited when Mimi and Poppy brought him to the hospital. He kept telling everyone this is his baby brother Keaton and wouldn't let anyone else hold him. Such a baby hogger! We'll be in the hospital until sometime on Monday. Here are the first pictures, many more to come.
